How long after dermaplaning can I wash my face?

Your skin will likely feel sensitive after your session, so we recommend giving it a few hours to calm down before washing your face.


When you decide to wash your face, use a gentle cleanser and do not scrub too hard, as this could irritate your already sensitive skin. It’s also best to avoid harsh cleansers and hot water. Your service provider will ensure you have all the appropriate aftercare instructions following your dermaplaning session.

How soon after dermaplaning can I wear makeup?

Facial dermaplaning may temporarily make your skin sensitive and prone to irritation. We advise waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to give your skin time to heal and calm down. Once you begin putting on makeup, use gentle makeup brushes and avoid heavy foundations to help prevent breakouts and irritation.
