Many people receive dermaplaning once per month or in conjunction with another service.
Dermaplaning can be done on almost any part of the body. It is typically done on the face and neck. Please ask your esthetician about any areas you would like to have dermaplaning and they can guide you on the proper session for each area.
Your dermaplaning session will last approximately 30 minutes. You will lay back and the esthetician will perform the dermaplaning procedure using a professional grade sterile scalpel.

It’s common for your skin to feel sensitive after your treatment, so it’s best to let it heal before washing it. We advise waiting at least four hours. Once your skin has recovered, wash it using warm water and a gentle cleanser. Don’t use exfoliants or abrasive washcloths for at least two weeks.
You shouldn’t apply makeup right away because you need to give your skin time to breathe. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to help prevent breakouts and infections.

Dermaplane facials only take 20 to 30 minutes to complete. During this quick and easy session, your service provider will review the process with you, answer your questions, wash and dry your face, and then start the procedure.
