How long after dermaplaning can I wash my face?

Because your skin may feel sensitive following your session, we recommend waiting for it to calm down and heal for a few hours. After at least four hours, you can wash your face with warm water and a gentle cleanser. To prevent irritating your skin, try to avoid using abrasive washcloths, exfoliants, and harsh products for at least two weeks.

How soon after dermaplaning can I wear makeup?

While you might feel tempted to apply makeup following your dermaplaning treatment, we advise allowing your skin time to rest and recover from the session,


Putting on makeup too soon after your dermaplane facial could irritate your skin or even cause breakouts or infections, so it’s best to wait at least 24 hours. Once you’ve allowed your skin time to heal, apply the makeup gently.
