How long after dermaplaning can I wash my face?

Following your dermaplaning session, your skin may be sensitive and prone to irritation, so it’s best to let it rest and recover for at least four hours before washing it.

Once you’ve waited the recommended amount of time, use warm water and a gentle cleanser. To help avoid irritation, don’t use abrasive products or harsh washcloths for at least two weeks.

You’ll want to give your skin time to breath and recover from the treatment before applying makeup to help prevent irritations, infections, and breakouts.

We advise waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup, and when you do, it’s best to be gentle and avoid harsh makeup applicators and products.

How long does a dermaplane facial take?
