Many people receive dermaplaning once per month or in conjunction with another service.
Dermaplaning can be done on almost any part of the body. It is typically done on the face and neck. Please ask your esthetician about any areas you would like to have dermaplaning and they can guide you on the proper session for each area.
Your dermaplaning session will last approximately 30 minutes. You will lay back and the esthetician will perform the dermaplaning procedure using a professional grade sterile scalpel.

It’s common for your skin to feel sensitive after your dermaplane facial, so to prevent irritation, we suggest allowing it to calm down and recover from the treatment for at least four hours.
Once you decide to wash your face, use warm water and a gentle cleanser. Avoid using any harsh or abrasive products that may irritate your skin.
Your service provider will give you aftercare instructions post-treatment.
You’ll want to give your skin time to breathe and heal from the treatment before wearing makeup, which could cause breakouts or infections. Therefore, we recommend waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to your face. When doing so, be gentle and avoid using harsh makeup brushes and exfoliants for at least two weeks.
