Your dermaplaning session will last approximately 30 minutes. You will lay back and the esthetician will perform the dermaplaning procedure using a professional grade sterile scalpel.

How long after dermaplaning can I wash my face?

Following your treatment, you may find that your skin feels sensitive and prone to irritation, so we advise waiting at least four hours before washing it to allow it time to calm down. When you wash your face, use warm water and a gentle cleanser. Also, avoid abrasive products for at least two weeks so your skin can heal.


Your service provider will give you aftercare instructions, but feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

How soon after dermaplaning can I wear makeup?

We recommend giving your skin time to breathe after your treatment. Therefore, it’s best to wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to help prevent breakouts, infections, or irritations.


When applying makeup after allowing your skin to rest and recover, be gentle and don’t use anything harsh that may irritate it.

How long does a dermaplane facial take?

Facial dermaplaning is a quick skincare treatment that takes only 20 to 30 minutes to complete. When you arrive for your dermaplaning facial, your service provider will review the procedure, wash your face, and then begin the treatment.
