How JUVÉDERM® Works
JUVÉDERM® offered at dermani MEDSPA® in Sandy Springs, GA is a smooth gel made of hyaluronic acid- a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and hydration. JUVÉDERM® is used to target wrinkles and lines around your mouth and nose. The results of JUVÉDERM® will generally last about 9-12 months. This does vary from person to person and no guarantees can be made on this time frame.
All JUVÉDERM® injections are done by an Allergan Certified Medical Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant trained in JUVÉDERM® injections. We use two types of JUVÉDERM®, both of which are the highest quality offered by Allergan and include a numbing agent for added comfort:

- JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC: used for nasal labial fold (parenthesis lines), oral commissures (marionette lines), and chin wrinkles

JUVÉDERM® injectables are extremely safe if done by Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants like those that inject at dermani MEDSPA®. All of our injectors are trained directly by the team at Allergan. Swelling and bruising is extremely common and can last up to 2-4 weeks after the injection.
JUVÉDERM® will last approximately nine months to one year in the body and then will be reabsorbed. No guarantee can be made on the actual length of time of the results.
Your JUVÉDERM® session will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Your JUVÉDERM® injection will feel like slight pricks, however our JUVÉDERM® injectors are highly trained to give you the best experience possible.
