How often should I get Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning can be done on almost any part of the body. It is typically done on the face and neck. Please ask your esthetician about any areas you would like to have dermaplaning and they can guide you on the proper session for each area.

What can I expect during my Dermaplaning session?

Your dermaplaning session will last approximately 30 minutes. You will lay back and the esthetician will perform the dermaplaning procedure using a professional grade sterile scalpel.

How long after dermaplaning can I wash my face?

Your skin may feel sensitive after your session. To avoid irritating it, we advise waiting a few hours before washing your face.


Once you wash your face, take care and use a gentle cleanser. Avoid hot water and any harsh cleansers and skincare products. Your service provider will provide additional aftercare instructions and happily answer any questions.

How soon after dermaplaning can I wear makeup?

We recommend allowing your skin time to breathe and recover from the treatment. Following your session, your skin may feel sensitive and be prone to irritation. To help avoid breakouts or irritation, it's best to wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup.

How long does a dermaplane facial take?

Our dermaplane facials typically take around 30 minutes. During this time, your service provider will cleanse and dry your skin and gently scrape away the dead skin cells with a scalpel. It may take several passes to ensure the top layer is completely removed. Afterward, you’ll receive aftercare instructions and can ask any additional questions.
