What lasers does dermani MEDSPA® use for Laser Hair Removal?

Dermani MEDSPA® uses FDA-cleared Continuous Motion Diode Lasers. Other options for laser hair removal are Yag and Alexandrite technology. At dermani MEDSPA®, we rely on evidence-based studies in peer reviewed medical journals to deliver our services. The research found HERE is the reason we use Continuous Motion Diode Lasers.

Who performs the Laser Hair Removal?

All of our Laser Hair Removal Providers are licensed as Cosmetic Laser Practitioners.

How much does Laser Hair Removal cost?

The cost varies depending upon the area treated. dermani MEDSPA® believes in being transparent and up front with our pricing. CLICK HERE to see our prices in detail. Since laser hair removal takes from 12 to 18 sessions completed once per month (necessary service will vary from person to person) to get the best results, we have established an affordable membership program that allows you to pay per month (6 month minimum is required). After this initial 12-18 months, touch up visits are usually needed every 6 months. If you are a member with us for at least 12 months you can get these touch up visits for the membership price forever!

Why does it take 12-18 months to get my best results?

All of our hair grows on a hair growth cycle. Research has shown that treating once per month maximizes the amount of hair follicles that can be destroyed each session. Unfortunately because of this hair growth cycle it takes this amount of time with consistent services to see great long term results. Service times and success rates will vary from person to person.

How do I prepare before coming into my Laser Hair Removal session?

You will need to cleanly shave each area to be treated before your session. Unfortunately we cannot shave your areas so this will need to be done ahead of time. If you have waxed the area, you must wait two weeks to get treated so that the follicle can be treated.

What skin types and what color hair can be treated?

All skin types can receive laser hair removal. Results will vary from person to person. Some white and gray hair cannot be treated.
