This minimally invasive treatment causes relatively painless “micro-injuries” on your skin, encouraging your skin’s natural wound healing process. This process also stimulates collagen and elastin production, which helps rejuvenate your skin and make it look more youthful.
As the SkinPen® gently moves across your skin, it can focus on acne scars, chicken pox scars, and even surgical scars. It can also reduce the signs of fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, and cellulite. Moreover, your microneedling treatment can improve your skin tone and texture.
Microneedling Cost
At our dermani MEDSPA® location in Albuquerque, we offer two pricing models for our microneedling services.
The first option is our Skin Rejuvenation Membership pricing. As a member, you can receive discounted rates on monthly microneedling treatments. You’ll receive a SkinPen® microneedling service for $175 or a SkinPen® microneedling service with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for $475 per month. The PRP treatment, often referred to as a vampire facial, uses an extract of your blood, which produces a stem cell response called fibroblasts to help enhance your skin further.
We also offer pay-per-visit options. If you’d like to pay as you go, you can receive a SkinPen® session for $350/visit or a SkinPen® session with PRP for $650/visit.

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is an extract of your own blood that contains three to five times more platelets, growth factors, and active proteins for tissue repair. When PRP is placed back into the skin by micro-needling, it releases growth factors and initiates a localized stem cell response. Over the weeks following treatment, this stem cell response recruits collagen-producing cells called fibroblasts. The fibroblasts replace tissue that has been damaged or lost through the aging process with healthy skin that looks refreshed and rejuvenated.

SkinPen® microneedling is the newest FDA-approved microneedling technology. It is one of the only devices that has been tested and cleared by the FDA.
SkinPen® Microneedling targets acne scars, surgical scars, chicken pox scars, stretch marks, cellulite, fine lines, and wrinkles.
Your SkinPen® Microneedling session will last approximately 30-45 minutes. SkinPen® Microneedling does require a numbing cream application before your session. You will lay back and the esthetician will perform the microneedling procedure using the professional grade SkinPen® Microneedling device with your own individualized sterile needle cartridge. dermani MEDSPA® exclusively uses the SkinPen® Microneedling system. After microneedling, you can expect a slight sunburn sensation.
dermani MEDSPA® uses licensed staff to perform our procedures. Our staff trains other estheticians to perform the procedures we do each day. Our affordable membership program makes a skin maintenance program affordable and coincides with our evidence-based medical approach.
