How long after dermaplaning can I wash my face?

You may find that your skin is sensitive and prone to irritation following your treatment, so you’ll want to give it time to calm. Therefore, we suggest waiting at least four hours before washing your face.


When you wash your face, use a gentle cleanser and warm water, and don’t use anything harsh or abrasive on it for at least two weeks to help avoid irritations.

How soon after dermaplaning can I wear makeup?

Wearing makeup too soon after your treatment could irritate your skin, make it break out, or even cause an adverse reaction. That’s why we recommend waiting at least 24 hours to allow your skin to breathe, rest, and recover from the treatment.


Once you apply makeup, use gentle sponges and makeup brushes to avoid irritating your skin.
